Cantina Tapas Bar & Grill, Oxford St Darlinghurst, Sydney

Cantina is my favourite tapas bar in Sydney. You get large portions at a reasonable price – and the quality is excellent!

Some tapas bars in Sydney such as Mojo’s Tapas Bar at Bondi Beach charge you more for less food.

The funny thing about Cantina Bar & Grill is that the word “Cantina” actually means “bar” in Spanish. (I learned that off their website)! So for a native Spanish speaker, it’s like saying you’re going to the “Bar” Bar & Grill. Maybe I’ll go and stay at the “Hotel” hotel afterwards and drive my “Car” car home in the morning.

Cantina Bar & Grill is located at 245 Oxford St – just before Taylor Square (if you’re coming from Bondi). You can easily take the 380 or 333 bus from Bondi or the city as it goes right past Cantina. If you’re driving, you can meter park on Darlinghurst Rd.

If you’re going on a Saturday night I recommend you book as it can fill up. If you can swing it, there’s an awesome booth table right at the front with really comfortable seats. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into tapas!
